About this Project
My interest in entrepreneurship and technology recently led me to Brooklyn Incubator, an independent investment company where I applied my background in user experience, product strategy and technology to source and advise promising investment opportunities with a special focus on consumer internet. I managed day-to-day work streams and provided preliminary diligence on all opportunities, along with market research and competitive analysis. In addition to designing the Brooklyn Incubator website, I actively participated in two investments and consulted with our portfolio companies and partners, including undertaking UX audits of the Real Estate crowdfunding site iFunding.co and the mobile payment app Dash (dashwith.me).
My UX audit of iFunding.co is available for download below.
Competitive Analysis of Real Estate Crowdfunding
Below is a site audit of a real estate crowdsourcing platform, which I evaluated relative to its competitors as part of Brooklyn Incubator. In addition to a high-level competitive analysis, the document also includes a site inventory with specific UX recommendations for page content, design, organization, and product features. This exposes a lot of my thinking around design and product innovation. Click through below.
